Maulana Anas was born and raised in Blackburn, England. At the age of 16 he completed Hifdh of the glorious Qur’aan and went on to further his studies at Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda in the year 2004. Maulana studied the science of Qiraa’ah under the supervision of Qari Zubair Falaahi Saahib, and gained Ijaazah in the Qiraa’at-us-Saba’ and ‘Asharah with an unbroken chain tracing back to the Beloved Prophet (SAW). Maulana completed the ‘Alimiyyah course in 2010 studying Arabic, Hanafi Fiqh, Usool, Aqeedah, Tafseer and Hadith under the likes of Mufti Abdussamad Manubari, Mufti Muhammad Farooq, Mufti Muhammad Ali Falaahi, Mufti Ikramul Haq, Mufti Inayatullah Patel and other senior scholars at the Darul Uloom, may Allah be pleased with them all. Maulana was graced with the close company and service of Haji Yakub Saahib Rahmatullahi Alayhi, a senior Khalifah of Sheikh Zulfiqar Naqshbandi Sb. Maulana has taught Qiraa’ah and Tajweed since 2008 and currently serves as the head of the Faculty of Qiraa’ah at Bayt Muhammad Academy.
