Ustaadha Umm Aishah

Born and raised in Maharashtra, India began her Islamic studies and spiritual guidance from her mother and other local scholars. After completing her primary school she traveled to one of Indias most prominent and illustrious islamic madrasah in gujerat, jamiah Islahul banaat. She stayed there for seven years under the guidance of the great scholar and saint, hazrat, al-allamah Shaukat Ali A’zami (r.a) and founder of the madrasah shaikh Abdul Haq Mian (r.a). Here she studied all the islamic sciences from Arabic, Grammar, Fiqh, usool, mantiq, and of course Qur’anic recitation, tafseer, and the six sihah collections of ahadith. Ustadha completed her formal studies in 1997 as a qualified Islamic scholar. Ustadha was immediately appointed as head teacher at another madrasah by direct guidance and advise of her shaikh allamah Shaikat ali Saab. Here she taught and managed the complete dars e nizami and conducted lectures and dawah sessions across India. After many years away from home she finally returned in 2001, where she then married and moved to the UK. Her zeal for spreading Islam continued here in the UK where she immediately began teaching in the prominent female madrasah in Lancaster, aka Lancaster Darul Uloom. After this Allah blessed Ustadha along with her family to travel to Hadramout in Yemen in 2008,where she studied and specialised in Shafii fiqh, under the wife of Habib Umar hafidhahulla), Ustadha zainab, (Jordan) and many others. Ustadha completed her studies in 2010 and upon her return to the UK, she began teaching at the madrasah which was founded and set by herself and her husband Maulana Irshaad Riyazuddin.
